Accurl Smart Press Brake Factory

INDUSTRY 4.0

With the Smart 4.0 Factory all critical information is shown enabling management to see real time data ensuring production needs are met and preventative maintenance can be carried out in a timely manner to avoid unwanted breakdowns. The beauty is that this data can be seen from any device anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

The information that is derived from the log files is presented in several blocks in the webpage. Which information is displayed in what block is described below.

Note: The information is not refreshed automatically. This must be done manually by pressing the refresh icon in the web browser, or by pressing F5.

Header

This block displays the time period that is covered by the log files and presented in the webpage. Also the time and date of last refresh, the total number of Y-axis strokes and the actual machine status (start/stop) is displayed.

Product overview

  • In this part a list of the produced products is displayed. For each product, the amount of products and the average production time (in seconds) is displayed.

Products in time

  • This block displays a bar graph indicating for each product the amount that has produced per day. When the mouse cursor is moved onto one of these bars, the product ID and the amount for that date is displayed.

Machine modes in time

Here a bar graph is displayed indicating which mode was selected and for how long per day. The possible modes are:

  • Programming mode
  • Automatic mode
  • Manual mode

Moving the mouse cursor onto a bar will display the mode and how many hours this was active.

Stokes and started in time

This graphs shows the relation between the time that the machine was started and how many Yaxis strokes were made during this period.

Message overview

A list of (error) messages that were displayed while the DA-control was started.

Messages in time

A bar graph displaying how many messages were displayed over the time. Only the message that were active while the DA-Control was stared are indicated.

The following categories of messages are indicted:

  • D = messages from the Delem application
  • M = messages from a DM-module
  • P = messages that are generated by a safely PLC
  • S = message generated by the sequencer

Filter

At the top of the page, on the right-hand side, a filter can be defined to limit the period for which the information must be displayed.
With the first two fields a time period can be defined. With the Quick filter function a certain
day, week or month can be selected.

Log files

The SystemEvent LUAP writes each event in a file. These files are located in the folder \User\Delem\Logs

Each file can contain a maximum of 1000 events. When this maximum is reached a new file will be opened to write the events. The previous files will remain in the folder. A maximum of 10 files will be created. After 1000 events are written to the 10th file, the oldest file will be cleared and will be used to write the events

Initial situation:

After the first file has reached the maximum of 1000 events:

After 10 files have been written:

The information in all the files is combined and shown in the Productivity Monitor screen.

Expansion & integration

The DA-ACP solution enables expansion of the control’s user interface offering further integration of machine functions and operator flexibility

With the new Additional Control Panel solution, in short ACP, the new DA-60Touch control offers the option to add additional user interface. From having a control panel at hand to program corrections, selecting a new product or moving an axis while teaching a specific value. The solution can be used integrating a panel at the Y-beam or in a control pedestal. Other than that, one can add an extra control panel on the opposite site of the machine for optimal accessibility. Or eg. in a tandem solution adding a central console. Next to the complete user interface of the control, also the ACP Additional ControlArea can be configured offering touch widgets to the user, upon choice related to the control’s SoftOEMpanel’s functions. All integrated in the control software any Windows tablet, or integrated Windows PC can run the ACPclient. With the software option (OP-W-ACP) enabled the control will communicate with the ACP and provide all control functions

ACP features:

  • 2 nd screen within the machine application to see and support the progress of the production process at the position of the operator.
  • View and change the CNC data on the spot.
  • Flexible integration possible, positioned within the operators console or positioned on the ram, even movable along the work spot.
  • Extending control functions similar to the SoftOEMpanel.
